9. Salto Hotel, Colombia

The magnificent cliffside Hotel del Salto first opened in 1928 to welcome rich guests visiting the Tequendama Falls area in Colombia. The view it offered was truly breathtaking. Unfortunately, the hotel closed its doors in the 90s and was left deserted ever since. Word has it that Salto Hotel was the scene of many suicides, which made the building haunted.
