The Official Xbox Podcast recently released a special episode discussing Xbox's future direction. Speculation had been rife, with some suggesting that Microsoft might abandon its exclusive-game strategy, a topic that took center stage in the episode.

As it turns out, the initial speculation was accurate, while subsequent rumors were not. It has been confirmed that four games, each older than a year, will indeed be released on additional platforms. Although no specific titles were announced, there is convincing evidence and leaks indicating that Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves are among the games in question, corroborating the original rumors. Pentiment is presumed to be the third title, with Grounded speculated to be the fourth. The respective development teams are set to unveil these cross-platform games in their own time, so an official confirmation is pending.

Additionally, there were whispers that Starfield and the forthcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle might also launch on multiple platforms, but Phil Spencer has explicitly refuted these claims. In essence, Xbox's strategy appears to remain largely unchanged.
