Take-Two Interactive shared its financial outcomes for the first quarter of its fiscal year 2025, which concluded on June 30, 2024, highlighting updated figures for its key titles. Despite Grand Theft Auto 5 maintaining its impressive sales figure at 200 million, Red Dead Redemption 2 has experienced a notable increase, now exceeding 65 million copies sold, rising from nearly 64 million since the last report.

Although Red Dead Online has ceased support, the game’s online community still sees engagement through free outfits inspired by content creators and monthly incentives, according to Take-Two.

The quarter demonstrated net bookings reaching $1.22 billion, aligning with the company's earlier forecasts, with NBA 2K24 and the Grand Theft Auto series being significant revenue sources. Nonetheless, recurrent consumer spending, which accounts for 83 percent of net bookings, has decreased, particularly in Grand Theft Auto Online and NBA 2K. No new updates on Grand Theft Auto 6 were provided, other than the confirmation of its anticipated launch in Fall 2025.
