In the concluding segment of Sony's recent State of Play presentation, Hideo Kojima took the spotlight to not only discuss some aspects of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach but also to unveil his work on a novel action-espionage project tentatively titled Physint. This upcoming game aims to blur the lines between gaming and cinema. The announcement sparked widespread curiosity about the nature of Physint, and Kojima's latest remarks suggest that the game might be quite perplexing, possibly even to the point of baffling one's own mother upon its release.

Kojima delved into this topic during his HideoTube series, describing Physint as a hybrid of interactive and cinematic experiences. He elucidated, "Physint is simultaneously a game and a film. That was the purpose of our visit to Sony Pictures. It's definitely going to be a game, but if your mother happens to see you engaging with it, she might mistake it for a movie. The extent to which we can push this concept is still something we're exploring."
