Marvel Comics is gearing up to introduce a new version of Venom in the upcoming series, All-New Venom, debuting this December. Amidst this exciting update, a critical question arises regarding the fate of Eddie Brock. In a surprising twist, Eddie is poised to adopt the mantle of a new version of Carnage.

This information was revealed during the Spider-Man and His Venomous Friends panel at NYCC today. The series, titled Eddie Brock: Carnage, will reunite the Star Wars creative team, including writer Charles Soule and artist Jesus Saiz. The debut issue will feature a cover by Iban Coello and a variant by Mark Bagley.

Currently embroiled in the Venom War crossover, Carnage has fused with a clone of Cletus Kasady, its original host. This arrangement is expected to change as Eddie is set to bond with the Carnage symbiote, grappling with its intense lust for destruction. This pairing will challenge Eddie as Carnage's insatiable appetite for havoc forces him to seek out criminals as unwilling victims.

The panel also teased an exciting crossover event titled Spider-Verse vs. Venomverse, scheduled for May 2025. After several successful collaborations, the convergence of these two universes seems inevitable, though specific details and creative teams remain undisclosed.

Additionally, Marvel previewed the upcoming Rise of Emperor Doom crossover and teased a new Star Wars series called Jedi Knights. For those looking to stay updated, a comprehensive summary of all announcements from NYCC is available for fans.
