The Tic Tac Toe glow - Free Puzzle game offers you an endless casual puzzle to play alone or with your friends when there’s nothing else to do. Unlike the classic Tic Tac Toe, you can customize your game in Tic Tac Toe glow - Free Puzzle. There are several types of fields that range from the simplest 3x3-cell board up to a long-play 11x11 field. The rules on the smaller field require you and your opponent to put circles and crosses in order to make a straight line of 3 cells. It means that you have to put 3 marks from one side of the board to another.
It supports horizontals, verticals, and diagonals. The computer will draw the line automatically as soon as you put your tokens in the right order. Mathematicians have counted that there are 255168 possible exoduses in the standard 3x3 mode, and over 40000 of them are draws! There are 8 potentially winning lanes, 3 of which are vertical, 3 horizontal and 2 diagonal. You can easily block each of them if you know how to predict the next move of your opponent. There’s even a theory that 2 players with the same level can’t ever win each other.
It’s not that easy in the long-play modes. Here you have to invent a lot more new combinations every time you play. Your goal is to make a straight line of 5-9 o’s or crosses in any place on the board. There are 6x6, 9x9, and 11x11 settings. They are available by default. The AI is also customizable so that you can choose the best difficulty level to train. Unfortunately, there’s no campaign mode and awards. It makes the game feel a bit raw sometimes. The leaderboards could also be an excellent feature.
Graphics and Sound 9/10
Tic Tac Toe glow - Free Puzzle looks like the hit Glow Hockey game. The black background with shiny neon lights and effects looks very attractive. It would be even more impressive if developers added a retro wave soundtrack. Luckily, there’s no problem to turn it on in your favorite music app. The multitasking works perfectly well with this game. You can quit to the home screen while playing, and then return to the same place where you stopped.
